The M5 disaster comes to mind. I think it would be good for Leica to have the M6 as the $1500 entry level model. $2500 bucks for a 35mm camera is pretty steep. If they share most of their components, this may be possible. By the way, my M2 arrived in the mail today. It's <sniff!> -beautifull. Engraved brass top, vulcanite <snivel>, no flare, needs a $200 CLA - -sob!
