Start to disconnect the digital back and the slide closes over the CCD - mount it, and the slide opens...no dust problem other than that introduced by changing lenses, which comes with any interchangable digital body. No? ;-) B. It's the digital equivalent of dust on the negative, but it's on every frame if it's there at all. I keep the back on a dedicated Hasselblad, and take it off only when necessary because it's such a PITA. IMHO, switching from film to digital would be a dust inducing nightmare. I'd be happy with a dedicated body. Even switching lenses can get dust on the ccd, which is why mfgs. like Olympus are making all in one non interchangeable lens bodies.
