Lea - the amount of area covered is pictured in the M6 manual- the area
covered in the viewfinder should be the same but obviously the amount the
scene metered will depend on the focal length of the camera.  If you don't
have the manual let me know and I can try to get that to you.

Wind the camera, remove the lens, and look at the white spot on the shutter
curtain.
