The mid-format Hasselblad for landscaping and in the future planning to acquire an R system to cover sports and wildlife. Regarding my opinion of the Tr-Elm, I wouldn't give it a second thought of getting one if its a faster lens. I already have the 24, 35, 50 cron and the 35 is the one I use most. - --- Pascal <cyberdog@attglobal.net> wrote: > On 12-02-2002 13:32 Grégoire Vandenschrick wrote: > > > Here are my arguments (used for my wife but for me > too ;-)): > > > > -R system more useful for longer focal > > -M system far more precise regarding focusing wide > angle lenses > > -redundancy between 35mm cron ASPH M and 50mm cron > R with preference to the > > 35mm M > > -replacement of the 24mm R by 24mm ASPH M, better > quality, best focus > > precision > > -still own an Elpro 3 for the 90mm R, "replacing" > 60mm R (for the use I > > have, don't do a lot of macro) > > I don't believe that you'll want to schlep around > both M and R outfits on a > trip.
