I used a new hi-tech device, a white plastic dome that fits over the
flash head, with the flash head tilted up at a 45 degree angle. I wished
that I could of turned the head to my left, so that the flash would also
bounce off the bar mirror more. I finally took the plunge and bought two
last year. It only took me 20 years of seeing them used by just about
everyone I knew.
It was tough shot. I needed the TV, the mounted indian on the wall, and
the customers, all compositionally coherent. I used a 40, but I'm
thinking..."is a 30mm not far on the horizon"....ouch.
