Subject: [Leica] Interacting with strangers, part II

I needed a shot of what people where doing during the Super Bowl. I went
to half a dozen bars, introduced myself to the bar keeps. I told them
what I wanted and that I'll be back to make the rounds for my shots when
the game starts.
I used a Rollei on a bracket with a Vivitrash 285, with dome attached
set at 45 degrees. Walking in, I placed the set-up on the counter, so
that everyone could see what was going on. It's almost the equivalent of
taking out a glass eye and putting it in you glass effect wise. Even the
most hardened bar denizen eventually will acquiesce to being photographed.
