You've given these parents an incredible gift. And I'm glad you shared it with us. I selected six : images I took in January when I had an opportunity to visit two good : friends who just became proud parents. : : This is no ordinary child, however - she was born over 14 weeks : prematurely. Despite her tiny size and some pretty formidable odds : against her, she struggled for life for the next three months until she : was healthly enough to be allowed home. The strength that child mustered : up, and the strength of her parents (one of whom was near death when she : was delivered by emergency cesarean) is simply remarkable. : : I shot these in the "preme" section of the materinty ward during bath : and feeding time - pretty dim light - and opted not to use a flash. Film : used was T-Max P3200 pushed to 6400, developed in XTOL 1:1. All were : around 1/30 at f2 - I metered once and guestimated as necessary. : : On the digital side, I used a Minolta Dimage 2820 dpi Scanner with VueScan. : : http://www3.sympatico.ca/w_gower/home/Baby_R.html : : Thanks for looking - comments, suggestions welcome. : : William : : : : : : : -- : To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html : - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
