Hi Nathan,
First class photograph, has the look of the 1930's and capturing the woman's
expression is perfect! Given she appears not to be threatened or intimidated
by the camera she has become a perfect model allowing you to continue
shooting. Well done.

It may not have been conducive for picture taking, but as usual you make the
best and better images during what some would shudder about the weather and
stay in the bar for another. ;-)

The effect of lights reflected on the wet street makes this image work
perfectly because you're making double use of the lights. If the road were
dry, then it would just be another "night street scene." But the rain and
reflections, plus a pedestrian with umbrella add to making this an
interesting night scene.

In any photograph whee you can make double use of the light, then generally
you'll have a more interesting picture.

Once again these all illustrate the art of "seeing" and putting elements
together for interesting photographs. You have the knack or inner feelings
to see potentials for pictures, that's a bonus. But what you consistently do
is know how to put the elements of film effectively.

This is an art, the art of seeing and using light isn't something everyone
with a camera has, as we see here on a regular basis of images posted by
others.

Yep they see and the potential is there, but either through lack of
experience in seeing the light and then moving for the best effect on an
interesting subject is lost at the moment of exposure because ..........
they shot from the wrong side of content or the best effect for the right
light..

Anyway keep up those interesting photographs. ;-)
