The premise was to make quasi-35mm user friendly so that those who are intimidated by the loading of standard 35 would buy the new format. Unfortuantely Kodak & Company had not learned the lesson of Disk film, 110, and other "bright ideas". If APS is not yet on its death bed, it is doomed nevertheless.
