Along the same lines, I've found myself entranced by how Terry Gross on
Fresh Air (NPR) manages to make conversation with her guests, delving,
delving, delving and I have to say I've learned quite a lot about conversing
by listening to her. She has the ability of not being 'wowed' by a response
and just keeps asking questions. A good lesson...for me anyway.

: Just wanted to send a belated thanks to Kyle for recommending this book. I
: bought it from Amazon and find its recommendations extremely useful. As
Kyle

December and
: am currently looking around, the schmoozing techniques contained in this
book
: are very useful to me right now from both points of view.

: Highly recommended.
