Roy: This shot was from Tuesday when it was overcast and foggy out. This gave the very even lighting. The Leica lens handles the flare from the bright sky well. The other eagle pictures I took on Thursday were in sunlight to the side. I didn't get much detail in the chest. The full frame version of this is at the link below. I used PhotoShop to remove the bird in the background and a few tree limbs. A high resolution JPG is at the second link. It is about 800K, but worth the download to look at the detail in the claws. The scanning process eats up a bit of the shadow detail. http://home.istar.ca/~robsteve/photography/images/Birds/Eagle1.jpg http://home.istar.ca/~robsteve/photography/images/Birds/Eagle1LRG.jpg Regards, Robert >This is eagle season in my little corner of the world , but thus far I've had >be content with watching through the APO-Televid.
