I think it is a good idea to take a super wide, (15 Heliar) for the big scenes and broad views. Otherwise, I tend toward wide angle lenses, 28, 35 and 50, with nothing smaller than that. I travel with a Domke bag as a carry on and pack a smaller Domke in my suitcase and carry that every day. It holds 2 bodies and the day's lenses, as well as guidebook, etc. I am wondering if I should take some type of tripod for lower light shots. Maybe just a table top tripod for dusk and night stuff.
