Actually, it is an analog, theine, essentially the same, and contary to popular thought, an average cup of prepared coffee (about 5oz.) has~80 milligrammes of caffeine. On the other hand, an 8 ounce serving of black tea has about 40 milligrams. Black and orange pekoe are the most popular in iced tea blends- and even good Ole Luzianne defaffeinated tea can still have about 2 milligrammes per serving. Now, that may not seem like much, but in hot weather, a good Ole Boy can put away nearly a gallon a day... twitch, twitch... so it adds up! Dan ( MAN! I'm wired- - let's go mow the yard again!)
