Today I went about an hour up the road to shoot some Bald Eagles. It was foggy and bright overcast, which was quite a challenge for the lens. I used a Leica 400mm APO-Telyt with a 2x APO extender. The film was Provia 100F pushed to EI 200. I metered with an incident meter. The exposure was wide open at 1/125th, which gave 800mm at f5.6 when the 2x extender was factored in. Tomorrow is supposed to be cloudy with sunny periods. I am going to give it a try again hoping there are more sunny periods than cloudy periods. The last two images on the page linked below are from todays shoot. http://home.istar.ca/~robsteve/photography/birds.htm Regards, Robert - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
