Subject: [Leica] Bald Eagle Shots from Today

Although I am not of Doug Herr's calibre, I occasionally photograph
birds. Today I went about an hour up the road to shoot some Bald
Eagles. It was foggy and bright overcast, which was quite a challenge for
the lens. I used a Leica 400mm APO-Telyt with a 2x APO extender. The film
was Provia 100F pushed to EI 200. I metered with an incident meter. The
exposure was wide open at 1/125th, which gave 800mm at f5.6 when the 2x
extender was factored in.

Tomorrow is supposed to be cloudy with sunny periods. I am going to give
it a try again hoping there are more sunny periods than cloudy periods.

The last two images on the page linked below are from todays shoot.
