Leica should be in business for a long time. Seriously, with the tools at hand this is a good shot. And, it's not going anywhere anytime too quickly. So, what do you want to say about this headstone? My immediate thought was in the vein of a cinematic set up shot, somewhat telephoto from a higher vantage point maybe with the headstone centered with the rest of the cemetery in the background with no treeline or other background to distract. But you could also focus in on the owl with a 15 heliar in grazing light to accentuate the texture in this monolith. Ultimately, you are going to have a great time working this sight. My thought is that this one will work better if you think about what you want to say, then go prepared to shoot that statement rather than walk in with a 50 at noon and tell the site to speak to you.
