Hi Don,
Good idea and I don't think too many shooters think in that vain.  Go
inside.

I've done it with the 60 macro and a macro extension tube and it's rather
effective. But absolutely  magical with the 100 2.8 macro plus 2, that's
right, 2 extension tubes and you're really inside the water drop. The water
drop is it's own lens and within it, there is it's own picture.  Albeit,
upside down. ;-)

A similar effect happens with a dew drop sitting on top of a blade of grass
and to catch that with the early morning sun is truly beautiful.
