Fortunately for my ego I'm not trying to sell any images but unfortunately for my skill level there is little feedback either from an editor or peers who were working at the same time/place with a different outlook. The Cecelia images are a prime example of what happens when you are doing "street photography". You usually only get a few frames of any one thing as most people will let you take some but at some point they need to go about whatever it is they were doing before you came into their life. In this case it didn't quite work. I couldn't sell you on I was trying to put the emphasis on the boy and not the barber could I? As to Abe, I am trying to work out a series showing the average worker in the US and how they fit in to the rest of us. For Abe, I was struck that here was this Hispanic gentleman trying to do the job while those of us with shopping carts were whizzing around him. Hence the pole dividing him from the rest of the image and also why the background was brought up to make Abe and island of dark in the higher key surroundings. This too didn't work. Hmmm, back to the drawing board. Don Dory dorysrus@mindspring.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
