Since you hinted, Mark -- 2001 was the most profitable year yet for Zeiss.
Check out their web site for the financial statement.  Admittedly, German
regulators are not terribly rigorous in their mandates for these reports
but, still, things are looking good at Oberkochen at the moment, quite a
change from ten years back.
