Subject: RE: [Leica] SummaroEug eyes on Summaron 2.8/35

So what do people find to be the best option for using a 35 with an M3: bug
eyes, optical finder, or assuming that the entire field of view in the M3
finder is roughly what you'll get out of a 35?

I know that there is no substitute for using what I'm most comfortable with
or what I find the most effective, and that the best solution is to go my
dealer and try all three. Before I do that, though, I wonder what others
have found to be the best.

Thanks

Yes, I tried the summaron on my M3 years ago. The distortion comes with the
territory, and I found it extremely distracting and annoying. The image
quality of the photos produced with that lens were fine, but I hated that
goggled viewfinder.

because jan schuller asked:
Does anybody have experiences with the bug eyes and this problem? Is it
system inherent or is something wrong with my bug eyes?
