In many cases environmental factors (cold and effects of pressure) limit
the dive time and frequency anyhow (for example, 45 minutes down and
1 hour in between for recreational dives, though much longer dives are
possible). A diving photographer needing more exposures could carry
extra camera(s), or use specialized (uncommon) gear that accepts
longer (not in standard cartridge) rolls.
