Subject: [Leica] RE: M6TTL vs "Classic" question

The Leica repair person I respect most once expressed the opinion that "classic" M
cameras (M2 and M3) can ALWAYS be made to work again, and never truly die. To test
this claim, I started sending this person trashed M cameras I picked up for very
little. I always get them back working really like new again. Total cost is always
less than a new M6 and they feel better to me. I do appreciate the M6 meter and have
no problem using them too - but always with a "classic" 1960s M as a back-up.
