Then ignore my comment!  :)  It is a very good scan.  I'm not suggesting
changing the contrast.  Just adjusting the levels so that your picture
contains maximum black.  Like I said, it's almost there.  I wouldn't have
noticed it myself if I hadn't adjusted my monitor lately so that I can
distinguish black black black from dark gray black.  I checked in Photoshop.
Look at a histogram, and you'll see that your blackest black is actually
very dark gray.  Take the eyedropper and check the areas you think are
already at black.

My comment was a nitpick.  You have a gorgeous scan.  Wonderful tonalities.
It could just be ever so slightly better, I think.
