I don't disagree it's overpriced- but then anything with the Leica name on
it is overpriced. I just don't think that it is at all overpriced when
viewed within the framework of the Leica catalogue. ;-)

I'm really tempted to ring up my friend who studied optical design and
have him
order me the same lens from Edmund Scientific, for a fraction of the
cost.
I agree that it's a very useful accessory, so much so that I will
problay end
up getting one anyway (probaly used), but I still think it's priced a
little
over the top.
