I did a little photoshop magic to the image and moved the ash tray closer and then cropped tighter. I tried cropping tighter without the ashtray and it didn't work. The ashtray sort of anchors that corner of the image and sends the eye back around to the subject. Without the ashtray you eye just goes out the white space in the lower right and never returns.
