Keep in mind that the pros you see here on the list are in the vast minority
of all photo pros.  For the most part, they're successful.  Having the means
to buy Leicas separates them from your average pro photographer.  Somebody
posted a link a while back (either here or on one of the newsgroups) that
showed that in the US, the median salary for a professional photographer was
$10/hr a couple years ago (1998, if I recall correctly).  Less than 10% make
more than $40k a year.  Your average pro photographer isn't likely to
support a family much above the poverty level in the US let alone buy more
Leica equipment.  The pros here are exceptional.  Keep that in mind.
