Mitch -

Have you taken a look at the Tamrac waist packs?  They come in three sizes, 
the largest of which will hold a reflex and four lenses (if a couple of the 
lenses aren't too fat), while the smallest easily accommodates my M6 in the 
center compartment with 35/50 stacked in a second compartment and an old 90 
Summicron in the third.  All of the packs have zipper pockets in the top 
flap and an outer pocket for film, filters, etc.  Tamrac has accessory 
pouches of various configurations (including several that would hold a 
water bottle) that attach to the belt.  I think they have a web site where 
you can view all this stuff.
