When my non-ribbed cell went bad, it was replace with the "ribbed" one. My point is that maybe your "ribbed" cell has gone bad. I simply suggest that as one possibility to consider. Good luck..........Julian - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dragi Anevski" <dragia@hotmail.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Wednesday, December 19, 2001 8:54 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Low light and Leicaflex SL Thanks to all for the replies on this. I think I get it now: with your slowest speed setting the lollipop hand is up at the upper mark in the finder (I wondered what that mark was for)! The meter hand (the other hand) on my SL stays two-three stops below that even for low light. Seems I need a second visit to the repair man... Somebody suggested to change to the later meter cell, with "ribs". My SL has the "ribbed" cell, doesn't seem to help.
