Can you define the differences between the two?  What about the Canon do
you like? What about the Nikon do you dislike? I had a chance this
weekend to do a test between the Nikon LS4000 and the Canon 2720 (not
the same resolution). I'd like to hear your thoughts.

All I can tell you is that I have just changed from the Nikon Coolscan 3

(below LS4000) to the Canoscan FS4000US and the Canoscan is far
