I have acquired two of my most treasured pieces of Leica gear from the catalogue--an M3 from a guy in Germany and a 35mm Summilux ASPH from a seller in the USA. The mail delay did not seem to matter. And I really enjoy the magazine. My membership is $60/year as far as I recall, so I am not sure how you come up with the $25/issue figure (unless you are talking Canadian dollars).
