My favorites (non-zoom) are: Leica Mini3 Minilux Olympus XA Minox 35 GT Olympus Trip 35 For the $150 range, the Mini3 is a gem, but alas it is no longer produced. The 32mm lens is amazing, and though it has significant light-falloff at the edges, it makes a great p&s. I highly recommend it, if you can find one. - - marc Robert W.
