I found an old Canon metal cap at the local camera store and bought it to 
use on my 2.8 Elmar...given my tendency to shed lens caps I thought this 
might be prudent.  The Canon cap had no fabric at all, but I deputized my 
wife to locate some velvet on her next foray into the fabric store.  No 
problem getting it here.
