Subject: [Leica] End of year one; on with the show

Dear all,

Thank you to all who participated in fom2 this year. You have done us 
proud, and we have had over 750 images to select from. The judging 
period has now closed, and I am about to collate the results. I hope 
to have finished by the weekend and to have the final selection 
viewable on late Sunday the 9th of December.

We have had over 60 photographers submitting images, over 30 judges 
making nominations for the final selection. I know you will be keen 
to hear the final results, so I will work hard this weekend. The 
results will be final, but all comments will of course be welcome. I 
will write again soon.

Thank you to all who helped choose our final selection. It has been a 
fun year, and proves that this project could develop into something 
"special".
