Date: Mon, 03 Dec 2001 04:54:32 -0000

Hi all!

Sorry for the interuption to regular discussion.

If there are any of you out there who are interested in the repairing
and maintenance of your own cameras (but of course, leaving complex
jobs to the pros), I would welcome you to join the camera fix
newsgroup at yahoogroups!.

This group is primarily targetted at individuals who are interested
in the older mechanical gems ones such as the Canon FD, Praktica,
Pentax SM, Pentax K, Nikon, Canon, Voightlander, FED, Zorki , Kiev,
Bronica, Zeiss-Ikon etc. ... but all types of camera repair exchanges
are welcome!

or, send a blank note to

Thanks, and now back to your regular discussion.

p.s For any persons who may also be interested in the universal
screwmount (M42) system, and how it is universal not only because so
many manufacturers - from Praktica to Pentax, Cosina to Angeneuix,
Schneider and Zeiss, made cameras and lenses... and how with
adaptors, these lenses are still usable on many common 35mm camera
systems e.g. Pentax K, Canon EOS, Canon FD, Contax, Leica R etc ...
