Hi Marc,

I believe there are only two versions.  The earlier one has filter threads
and a large detachable hood.  The new ones have build in filter turret and
a smaller hood (I believe). Some actually prefer the earlier one because
you can use specialised filters especially in Landscape photography.  Hope
