Just hook it up and shoot. I use the wide-angle attachment like Ken to diffuse the light and I'm sure not to have any walls right behind the subjects. I would be even happier if it would tilt for reflected flash, but I just use an index card and rubber band for that. ================================ I had gone through the same situations before, but still cannot find an idea flash to go with my M6 TTL. As a result, i bought 2 flash for the M6, Metz 32 with the TTL delicated shoe & the Olympus S20. However, i still cannot find satisfaction. The Metz 32. Advantages: more powerful, tilt & pan, auto off mode, auto & TTL mode. Disadvantages: big & heavy, feel imbalance! Olympus S20. Advantages: very small & compact. Disadvantage: No TTL mode, only have 2 auto modes which force me to use a small apertures. *** Here is my question: How do u use an index card and rubber band to achieve reflected or bounced flash with the SF 20. maybe u can scan a drawing to illustrate.
