David, Leica shooters are very conservative when it comes to their cameras.
Whenever a new model comes out then the previous model becomes so wonderful
that it deserves a premium over the new junk that Leica foists on us. Look
at the worship of the M4 versus the M6; you can sometimes buy an M6 TTL for
less than a clean M4P. Quality of the old versus what, five years of
Passport warranty.

So, work like crazy over the Christmas break and buy yourself an M6 of Hexar
if you want a motor and AE. Better yet, work really hard and buy the wide
angle you've been lusting after. Don't go for the 15, go for the 24 or 21
ASPH, either of those are more useful more of the time than a 15 which takes
special circumstances to effectively use.
