This lens and a Leicaflex SL were made > for each other IMO.<<<<< Hi Dave, Now if you really want to put that 400mm puppy to work, get a motor on the SL and the micro switch connection from pistol grip to motor and you'll pump them out at 1/15 even after a Starbuck's! ;-) Get this kind of rig, pistol grip with micro switch and motor hooked to a 400 or 560 it's an awesome rig and sharp as a cat's eye. Or even better, the 280 2.8 and a 1.4 extender locked on first to the lens and it becomes a 400 f 4.0. Now you go wild attach the 2x to the back of the 1.4 then lock-up the body and man you're flying low at mach 2. You have in hand an 800mm f 8.0 and you can hand hold that mama and blast away with beautiful images the likes you've never done before. :-) Oh and Macro?
