I believe he can repair M3 viewfinders so add that cost to the body and if the dollars work then you have a overhauled M3 for a price that you like. What could be better? And if the dollars don't work then bargain the price down, a guy here in Atlanta paid just $300 for a very clean DS glass plate M3 with a low serial number as the secondary image was extremely faint.
