During my brief (and unmentionable) stint working in a wedding studio when I was in high school, I shot a wedding in a very small town in deep rural Illinois (Tuscola or some such place). I spent nearly four hours with the wedding party, and the bride simply could not stop crying. Four hours! I didn't think that it was humanly possible to weep without pause for four hours, but she did--through the ceremony, through the reception, unreal. I didn't get a single useable image of her--had to hand it over to the "pro," who, in turn, had to schedule a studio shoot--some weeks later. *That* was a "depressed" woman.
