Subject: [Leica] If only one more R lens,
From: "Larry Fuller" <merryandbo@earthlink.net>

I recently became the owner of a R3 with the standard 50mm lens. I'm
practicing with it (12-15 rolls a month), but am now interested in a
different lens. About 30% of my shots are around or in the house, or at
a motorcycle rally, with a range of approx.10 feet. The other 70 % are
shot in nature, with about half of that 70 % being landscapes (some at
considerable distance) and the other half being wildlife (maybe flowers
up close, maybe a hawk a hundred yards away). If I could only get one
more lens, what should it be? And if I could get two more lenses, what
would they be (same as the second plus another or two completely
different ones)? And what if I could get three?!? My total budget is
probably around $4,000, so one of those lens at $8-10,000 is out of the
question. Thanks for any help.
