I was using a third-party adapter when I noticed that the rangefinder did not quite match up at infinity. The adapter works fine with two of my Voigtlander lenses. I brought it to Leica in Northvale and they confirmed the lens worked fine with one of their adapters. Sooner or later I will acquire an LTM body; I'll be interested to see which lenses line up properly with the rangefinder on that body. The newer rings differ from the engraved letter font being a more modern style. Fortunately I could seize the opportunity to buy all three lenses (as they are quite rare) and all of them came with the appropriate adapter ring.
