Kodachromaspeculation! It's a numbers game and only the cost accountants know for sure. You've got to figure Kodak is tooled up to batch the stuff. They know the formula pretty well and can probably produce it very economically. The distribution fits with their other products. Thus, incremental cost are pretty low. As long as it's profitable my guess is that Kodak will continue to make KR. I doubt, however, that they'll spend on R&D, or promote it. In the end Kodak may plunge a dagger the blood-red heart of Kodachrome to put it out of its misery. But only because photographers have been sticking it like a pin cushion, one needle at a time. Were we all to say a roll a day Kodachrome would stay and keep E6 at bay. What are the odds? One safe bet. They won't sell the trademark to Fuji.
