Well, I finally acheived something that I began 18 month ago. I finally put
some images to video in a manner worthy of Leica I was able to maintain an
extremely high level of image quality, outputting the final sequence to HDTV.

Using a combination of software I was able to put together a short video
incorporating native motion on stills and viewed on a DVD player. End
result, A 10 minute mini-production all done on a PC
workstation. Photography, I think, was the easiest part. Getting all the
software to work properly, and learning how to use it, was the tough part.
But worth the effort.

I just sent off some VCDs to a few friends for feedback. Now all I've got
to do is figure out how to stream video from my web site. Throwing on a
sound track, some native motion and some transition fx really adds
something to still image viewing. However, I still enjoy printing and
viewing large mounted prints. Thus I prefer Leica and film to digital
capture. I just may not be using the Ektagraphic as much in the
future. Visual communication is a blast. I just wish I had the right voice
to do my own voice overs.
