Jpegs on the link below were from a scan of the 7x10 print, not the neg scan. There's a scan of the full print and a section enlargement. For those curious about the technical side details are: Leica M6 (with Rapidgrip), 35/1.4 ASPH @f4 1/30th, Neopan 1600 at 1000 in Xtol 1:1 for 7 min at 68, CI of around .60. Neg scanned with Nikon LS-30 at 2700 DPI using Vuescan. Printed on Epson Heavyweight Matte using Epson 3000. Print was then scanned on Epson 1680. The print looks even better than the final jpeg. With color it always seems to be the other way around. http://www.lightcurves.com/piezo/image1.htm Dave - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
