Everything reasonable said don't. I'm not a wealthy person. Nor am I a professional photographer. Finally, I couldn't resist any longer... I bought it. When I brought it home, I put the camera, still in bag, on my bed and let it sit unopened for about two hours. Finally, I opened the box and fondled this gem, wound the film advance, released the shutter, looked through the insane viewfinder... all with lint-free gloves. Many will say I'm crazy to have bought this camera. And, I will agree. Will I use it? I'll probably run 2 or 3 rolls of film through it and then display it in a case. Yes, I am indeed crazy. The only thing I have to say for myself is that my other major hobby is reading Mayan Hieroglyphics. Fortunately, except for travel, that's a relatively inexpensive hobby. Am I glad I bought this camera? Yes. Do I feel a little guilty about buying it? Also yes. Still, I love this camera. It is the only camera I have ever bought without intention to use it on an ongoing basis. Just some ruminations on having just bought a Leica 0.
