I have a 2nd body pre-loaded with film so that when I've got an unrepeatable opportunity to photograph some critter, I can "re-load" with the pre-loaded body much more quickly than re-loading one body. I keep a body cap on the 2nd body to keep dust out. Works great as long as I remember to put film in the camera.
