I pay for good processing and that is what I get. There are labs in town that can do it cheaper but they cut corners with chemicals and machine maintenance. On the few occasions when my lab has had problems with their chemicals, it is not unusual for them to spend the whole night sorting it out and re-fixing all the film from the previous day. That kind of dedication is not commonly found in salaried employees. You get what you pay for period. If you do not want to pay much then that is exactly what you get. You can find the good labs by asking at any good camera store with whom, of course, you have built up a relationship by buying your equipment and film there.
