My new M6 TTL will be purchased within 30 days. While researching which lens to start out with, a question crossed my mind: Are there fundamentally any differences (mechanical, durability, etc.) between the silver and black versions of lenses? I notice from their literature that in all cases where both finishes are offered, the silver version weighs more. Are they made in the same place? I'm most likely going to start with the silver M6 (.72 viewfinder) and the 35 F2 Summicron Asph. for shooting architecture and urban/suburban landscapes. Probably a silver version would look nicer? Thanks. Best to all, Michael =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Dr. Michael S.
