I don't have that lens (not enough $$ at this time), but I got its sibling, the Hexanon-M 35/2 last week, and it is also a fine piece of equipment. Inasmuch as you have a Hexar RF, I recommend the M lens for that camera (and while I'm at it, I recommend the camera too). If Dante didn't live halfway up the continent, we could compare the two. I understand that the two lenses are of different optical design. It would be interesting to compare their characteristics. At some point, could we come up with a resolution chart that we all can agree on? I wouldn't mind photographing an opened newspaper tacked against the wall (that seems to be Amateur Photographer's resolution chart). I would vote for Kodak Gold 100 as the film standard because it is CHEAP and has fine grain. Back to the 35/2 LTM Hexanon, I hope they make more than 1000 of these. I don't have the income that can finance Limited Editions of anything! Jeffery Smith New Orleans, LA - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
