Lots of nice meter's out there!
You could get a retro classic like a Sekonic Studio Delux which is still made
new! Batteryless

Plenty of Gossans to choose from, some quite compact. It's version of this would
be the ultra compact Pilot II which i have and fits on shoe.
And the Leica meter which couples to the camera is supposed to be respectable.
